The newspaper should have news about the school and the problems or newest additions to it. It should be more current events such as the volleyball team winning CCS. Where as the yearbook should talk about events that have happened over the span of this school year-along with ones that the students feel like they can relate too. Such as homecoming, football games, spirit days, and even little sections that may interview their friends or even them.

Gameifying Education
I thought that the idea of counting up from zero in order to help create a better mind set for students was one of the great ideas of the video. Many students find that by counting down from 100, and docking off points instead of gaining them can be really discouraging. I also liked the idea of treating school like a game, instead of more of a chore because it would allow for many students to better identify what they are doing and how they do it. For me when a teacher is able to make the students, including myself, engaged in the discussions and lectures they do is what works for me. I'm a very hands on person so if we do lots of reading myself instead of constantly listening, then that is what helps me learn. In this class I don't really think I'll need help on anything, but then again it's only the first couple days of school; I may end up needing help along the way.
